    Wear the kind of socks or tights you would normally wear with this type of shoe. Stand up straight on a flat surface with your heel against a wall. If necessary, ask someone else to help you take the measurements. Measure from the base of your heel, keeping it pressed against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe. Always measure both feet and use your longest foot as your benchmark.

      The fit is perfect ! I am a 6.5 wide but for some reason in work boots / work boots styles I can never get them small enough to fit my arch good and I have to double up socks. These boots fit great and have great movement - Not too stiff and not too soft. So you have support and give. Definitely recommend to the smaller foot ladies. I got a 6 reg. Fit perfect.

      Warm but not hot and moderately water resistant (fine to get some rain or light snow on, but stay out of downpours). There wasn't any kind of breaking-in period. They were especially helpful when I had plantar fasciitis while at a conference in Montreal: safe in the light snow, sturdy and supportive, looked nice with my business-casual conference attire.
